Our recommendations:

  • No food at least for 2 hrs prior to yoga. You may drink water, tea, or coffee.
  • Empty your bowels and bladder before yoga
  • Wear comfortable exercising clothes
  • Take off long necklaces and heavy rings
  • Avoid yoga if you are having a heavy period
  • Stop yoga if you feel dizziness, severe pain, or nausea
